These are the dates we are shooting to hold pop-up Cross Off 2020 races. There is no guarantee that we will hold a race on these tentative dates, and if other opportunities come up, we’ll jump on them.
Cross Off 2020 Races at Johnson-Springview Park December 12-13 Cancelled
Today (12/9/2020) we received notice from our venue manager that because Placer County has been placed under new stay at home guidelines, this weekend’s Cross Off 2020 races must be cancelled.
We know this is incredibly disappointing (for us too, we promise) and hope you know that we tried every angle possible to make this weekend happen. Due to the great relationships we have with our vendors, we have been able to hold off on placing deposits for services including security, EMS, portable toilets, awards, and more. The City of Rocklin is also refunding our event fees.

Below, you will find info on the courses for each venue we are able to hold a Cross Off 2020 race. Course info will be added as each race is confirmed.
Pre-Riding
Masks are not required during course inspection (pre-riding), but are required until you are on the course – including while you are waiting to enter.
If you would like to pre-ride the course, please be ready at least 5 minutes before the end of a race, and queue at the break in the course tape just past the finish line. The announcer will let you know when it is ok to enter the course, and you should make sure to never pass anyone who is still racing.
Chip Placement
Please wear your RFID chip on the OUTSIDE of your sock on either ankle! Your chip may not read inside your sock, especially if it’s mud-soaked.
Accommodations: Support those who support us! We’ve got a great excuse to turn your race weekend into a weekend getaway (or a staycation if you’re local!). Thanks to our partner Placer Valley Tourism, Cross Off 2020 racers have access to discounted rates as low as $82/night at local hotels near the race venue. Parking: Parking is free! Use address 5480 5th St Rocklin, CA 95677 to plug into your GPS. Enter via the parking lot on 5th Street and follow race parking signs along the dirt road towards the race venue (map).
Course Info: The Johnson Springview CX course is a fast course with big DG straightaways, broken up by technical turns through the oak tree grove. It’s mostly flat with a few quick descents and punchy climbs by the creek.
