Cross Off 2020 RFID Chip Return Info

Return your Cross Off 2020 RFID chip by March 1, 2021 for a full deposit refund. You can choose a cash refund or snag one of our Cross Off 2020 beanies instead – limited quantities available, and shipping’s on us.

Return Your Chip In Person

Use our brand new RFID chip deposit box at our office (4818 Golden Foothill Pkwy #4, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762) to return your chip anytime! Be sure to include a note with one of the following so we can get your deposit back to you:

1. The email address tied to your PayPal account
2. A self-addressed, stamped envelope so we can mail your refund
3. Let us know that you want us to mail you a Cross Off 2020 beanie in lieu of a refund (include your address)

Return Your Chip by Mail

If you choose to mail your RFID chip back to us, please follow these instructions carefully:

1. Wrap your chip in newspaper and/or tape it inside thick cardstock.*
2. Place your wrapped chip in an envelope addressed to:
   Clipped In Races
   4818 Golden Foothill Pkwy #4
   El Dorado Hills, CA 95762
3. Please include either a.) the email address tied to your PayPal account, b.) a self-addressed, stamped envelope so we can mail your refund, or c.) let us know that you want us to mail you a Cross Off 2020 beanie in lieu of a refund.
4. Add stamps (we’ve been advised that 5 should do the trick).
5. Drop it in the mail!

*We’ve had envelopes rip open and the chips never arrive when they’re not padded. You will not receive your deposit if the chip is missing or damaged due to incorrect packaging.

Also please note that your chip was programmed specifically for the Cross Off 2020 races, and will not work at any other race until it is re-programmed.
