Registration and Pricing

2024 registration opens on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 8:00 AM!

All racers must register online before their first race. You can register for the full three-race series at once, or register for each race separately. Add $5 for late registration starting at 12:00 AM on Friday before each race. Registration includes:

• Custom 2024 Good News race plate
• RFID chip timing
• Racing on courses closed to public traffic
• Podium ceremony at each race for the top 5 in each category
• Podium decal for your race plate each time you’re on the podium
• Series registration discount (must register for all 3 races at once, deadline January 25, 2024)
• Race plate frame for top 3 in each category in the series (must do all 3 races)

Series registration discount! Register for the full three-race series by January 25, 2024 to receive a $15 series discount and be checked in for the series.

No refunds! Please scroll down and review our refund/transfer policy before registering.

PACKET PICKUP

Pick up your packet at your first race at the Registration Tent from 7:30 AM – 2:45 PM. Look for the Clipped In Races tents near the Finish Line. Once you’ve picked up your packet, you do not need to check in again.

Keep your race plate for the whole series! There’s a $5 replacement plate charge if you lose/forget yours.

Refunds & Transfers

No refunds or deferrals will be offered for any reason, including but not limited to cancellation/postponement, injury, family/business emergency, medical emergency, or unexpected travel (see full Clipped In for Life Refund Policy).

A note about weather cancellation/postponement: In the case of heavy rain, we may be required to cancel/postpone a race at the request of our venue managers to avoid costly damage to our local parks. Our backup race date in this scenario is Saturday, February 17, 2024. Refunds will not be given in the case of a cancellation/postponement.

DATE TRANSFERS

Good News registrations are for a specific date. Date transfers are offered in the following situations:

• If you cannot make a date you sign up for, you can transfer to another date in the 2024 Good News MTB Race Series. Date transfer requests must be made via email by 11:59pm on Thursday before your original race date.
• If a race you signed up for is cancelled/postponed, you will have the option to transfer your registration to the postponed date (if applicable) or to another race in the same season. Stipulations & deadlines will be outlined in the cancellation/postponement announcement email sent to registered racers for the affected date.

We do not offer transfers to another racer with the following exception: You may transfer your registration to an immediate family member (mother, father, son, daughter, brother, sister, or partner) ONLY. Any difference in price will apply. Family transfer requests must be made via email by 11:59pm on Thursday before your original race date.
