Sunday is for the runners at NorCal Trail Rally! Choose your challenge with Half Marathon, 10K, 6K, and 5K distance options. Not feeling a solo challenge? Grab a couple friends and join the fun with our Half Marathon Team Relay. Routes explore the flowy singletrack trails all around Asbill Valley on Six Sigma Ranch property. This is a unique opportunity to race on world class trails on private property!
Registration includes a finisher medal and t-shirt for each participant. Post-race food is included for individual half marathon participants. Visit our Registration and Pricing Page for more info.
Half Marathon, 10K, & Team Relay: 8:00 AM
6K Start: 8:05 AM
5K Start: 8:10 AM
Our 10K, 6K, and 5K loops make up the half marathon course! If you’re not up for running a half marathon by yourself, grab two friends for a team relay. Each team member must do one leg of the half marathon course.
For those superstar athletes and teams, compete in both the trail run and the Six Sigma 6 Hour MTB Race over the weekend for your shot at the Six Sigma Cup!
All runners will receive a finisher medal. An awards ceremony for the Six Sigma Stampede Trail Runs will be held on Sunday at 12:00pm at the Six Sigma Winery tasting room. Awards will be given to the first overall male and female for each distance, and to the first place team in the half marathon relay.
Half Marathon Course: Half marathon runners and team relays will complete all three loops below in order (10K, then 6K, then 5K). Total elevation gain is ~2,300 ft. These routes loop through Asbill Valley where our finish line and relay team exchange is located, so look forward to a morale booster as you complete each loop! The cutoff to start your last loop (the 5K loop) is 10:15am.
10K Course: This big loop consists primarily of rugged ranch roads with several creek crossings, and a big climb up to a ridgeline firebreak with epic views over the Six Sigma valley. Elevation gain is ~1,200 ft.
6K Course: This short loop consists of all the north-side Six Sigma trails. These tight, singletrack trails wind up and down the rolling hills through oak forest and chaparral. Elevation gain is ~700 ft.
5K Course: This is our flattest loop sticking close to the valley floor, but with a little bit of rugged singletrack and a creek crossing to finish out the lap. Elevation gain is ~400 ft.
Trails are always being added and improved at Six Sigma thanks to local builder Ninja Trail Works, so the posted loops are subject to change up until race week.
